Our Child’s Smile

Our child’s smile bares it’s human world

Deciphers perception

And is yet discarded

Sent forth to unlearn, in mind

Then, as if by chance

An inimitable void cracks open

No thing, bar lights

Shore to shore

Ragged soldiers we all play a perfunctory spiral

Kicking dirt, practise

Die before we die

Eat without remorse

Fallow opportunities flash up, writhing

Everyone is wicked

Yet it matters not, and not, and here we be
